We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, hardworking, well presented, motivated to join our busy creative design team. You will be working as a team player, the day will be varied and you might be working on a new client logo and branding, creating visuals to proof, reworking designs and processing artwork to be sent to print. You must have experience of working in a fast paced print environment and have a can-do attitude

The Role

Liaise with clients and Account Handlers to take a design/creative brief
Design for Branding / Logo design / Company stationery / brochures and promotional merchandise
Processing completed artwork to CTP and liaising with our print room
Processing completed artwork through our digital workflow using our Xerox 700 ready for print finishing
CTP and Digital processing

Skills – Required

A proficient Mac user with full knowledge of
Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign,
Illustrator and Photoshop
Creative flair with good design skills
Understanding of design theory, use of colour, layout and typography
Setting artwork up for print both digital and litho
Ability to understand and interpret a written or verbal brief
Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
Excellent eye for colour and attention to detail
Ability to plan Digital and Litho print experience

Qualifications / Experience

Academic: Advantage to have an Honours degree or HND in graphic design not essential


2 years experience in a similar role, preferably a printing company or a company with a reprographics department
